WE DREAM OF HAVING OUR IDENTITIES BACK
£10,000 ENABLES A CHILD TO UNDERGO RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY AND COVER MEDICAL CARE COSTS.
We are helping children who have been affected by conflict to undergo reconstructive surgeries and their ongoing medical care costs.
REBUILDING THEIR FUTURES
A campaign led by our young ambassadors whose faces and bodies have been destroyed by war. The children are looking to raise funding to not only cover the cost of the medical treatment but to also help cover the cost of the treatment of as many other children as possible.
The first child identified was Fatima who was born in Idlib Syria in 2012. She was only 9 months old when a bomb was dropped right next to her home. Fatima sustained severe 3rd and 4th degree burns to her head, face and body. Fatima’s dream is to be a normal girl just like all the other children, to be able to go outside and feel accepted.
We have identified an initial group of children to be supported by this project, however, increases in funding will allow us to support even more with their reconstruction surgeries and medical care costs.
